Over 85.5% of 2019-20 CyberEPQ Students Achieve a Grade B or Higher.
Posted onCongratulations to Qufaro’s fourth cohort of CyberEPQ Graduates. We have even more to celebrate this year with another substantial increase in our students gaining such outstanding grades. Last year we were proud to announce that over 50% were awarded a grade B or higher, but this year our dedicated students and supervisors have taken us by surprise with over 85% achieving the same grades.
This was no mean feat as due to COVID19, both students and supervisors had to adapt to new conditions and circumstances in order to complete their projects. Delivering the course remotely, has meant that Qufaro was able to follow all normal practices and procedures from supervisor training to internal moderation to ensure rigorous quality assurance across the national cohort.
Ordinarily we would celebrate our CyberEPQ students successes at the Graduation Ceremony at The National Museum of Computing in September. Unfortunately, we will be unable to do so in the conventional way, but plans are under way for a virtual ceremony. Participants will be virtually welcomed by Dr Budgie Dhanda, Co-Chair of the UK Cyber Security Council, before certificates are virtually presented by Amanda Finch, CEO of the Chartered Institute of Information Security. In addition, three of our outstanding students will be corporately recognised by our sponsors, Deloitte, for best essay. Rounding off the virtual event, will be career networking opportunities and a virtual tour of The National Museum of Computing.
