Investing in London Cyber talent with the Headstart in Cyber Security
Back in January 2021, Deepinder Singh Chhabra, the past president of the ISACA London Chapter, reached out looking for opportunities to give back through supporting young people and career changers into cyber security.
Since then, ISACA the London Chapter, have been sponsoring 40 London students through the Headstart in Cyber Security Course. The students are from Finchley Catholic High School, Edmonton Academy Trust, Prendergast Ladywell School and Enfield County School.
A big thank you to ISACA, Deep, Dr Peter Stiernstedt, CPP, CISM, Nitin Shah and Ebube Uzochukwu in their support of the programme and Computing At School especially Wendy Piccinini and the Metropolitan Police for reaching out to schools.
It should go without saying, a massive thank you to the teachers who make a difference for their students Golzar Alavi MCCT, Cigdem Bozkurt, Wioletta Gallie and Catherine Nash. These teachers saw the opportunity to enrich their students' lives by supporting the students through the Headstart in Cyber Security Course.
